A late update for all who avoid social media:
Drummer and founding member Lukas Roth has left the band in May this year. Lukas had a big role in shaping the Wildhunt sound and we want to thank him for all the effort he put into the band and great memories over the years.

Despite this big change, we have been busy completing the tracks for our second album and are stoked to inform you that the drum tracks for the album have already been recorded by our friend Lukas Lobnig! A long-time music fellow of Wolfgang, Lukas played drums in their former band and co-wrote live classics like Thrill to Kill and Age of Torment. So we’re thrilled to have him on board for the recordings and also for future live shows!

Although the last 2 years haven’t been our most active due to covid, a lot of things have changed in the Wildhunt camp within the last months. Former bassist Bentaro Rifferashi decided to leave the band for personal reasons. We wish him all the best for the future.
At the same time we are happy to introduce Robbie Noebauer as our new bass player! With his many years of band experience, great musicianship and burning ambition, he fitted in right from the start. Having put together a full band again and with the songwriting for our second album being 90% done, we’re confident to hit the studio in the next few months and finally unleash this beast!

The Huntsmen finally scent their prey again in Vienna’s finest summer location ARENA WIEN on August 21, ready for 2020’s first and probably last Vienna show!

After several unfortunately cancelled shows in 2017, we’re glad to finally announce a show in our hometown again! We’re back from the dead for a Winter Thrill together with our AHMA-buddies Küenring who just released one hell of a debut album and Epic Doom Metallers In Aevum Agere from Italy, who are a true gem for fans of Candlemass and Manilla Road. Afterwards all hell will break loose with the finest 80s Metal by DJ Pitprophet (Hell Breaks Loose – 80er Metal in Wien) and a special guest set by Brenton Weir (Trve Metal Radio Vienna)
